Funded research - Tax Checkoff
Your contribution to the California Breast Cancer Research Voluntary Tax Contribution Fund on your state income tax form 540 will directly fund vital research into the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
In 2021-2022, CBCRP was allocated $178,000 in voluntary contributions and supported $168,000 in research awards and $10,000 in administrative costs. The following projects were supported entirely or in part by Californians who contributed to the California Breast Cancer Research Voluntary Tax Contribution Fund on their income tax form.
